OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Airlines carried its first flights on the Moscow-Murmansk route on October 10, 2014. The passenger factor on the first flight reached nearly 100% proving the high demand for a new service.

The first flight of Transaero was given a red carpet welcome at Murmansk airport, and passengers received some souvenirs.

Transaero operates flights UN175/176 from Moscow Domodedovo airport to Murmansk with Discount class according to the following timetable:

Departure from Moscow on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 22.45, arriving in Murmansk at 01.25 on the next day.

Departure from Murmansk on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at 08.00, arriving in Moscow at 10.35.

Transaero will increase the flight frequency on this route to five times per week. The airline will add services from Moscow on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and from Murmansk on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The new flights between Moscow and Murmansk illustrate the continued development of Transaero Airlines' domestic route network and the expansion of the airline's Discount class offering. Passengers flying from Murmansk to Moscow will be able to take advantage of the full breadth of this network to continue their travel.
