OREANDA-NEWS. October 16, 2014. This was announced by the acting Director of the Association Iurie Fala during a conference. It is noted that according to the state Regulation on the mechanism of providing financial support to fruit producers, was approved the amount of promised compensation-138 million lei.

According to the statements of the members of Moldova Fruct, this will not be sufficient to cover all needs required. In addition, they noted that the process of distribution of compensation is not effective and leads to discrimination among fruit producers, and the amount of apples delivered to processing enterprises, is more than double the amount to be compensated. Iurie Fala drew attention to the necessity for the replenishment of the Fund subsidy for all farmers in 2014, approximately 150 million lei at the expense of the European Commission allocated in the autumn of this year.
