OREANDA-NEWS. State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan (SSC) released the data on the volume of retail e-commerce in the country during January-September of 2014.

The SSC reports that during this period, the volume of retail e-commerce turnover in Azerbaijan increased 2.4 times and amounted to AZN 4.4 million, compared to the same period of 2013.

91.2 percent of the consumer goods purchased by the population online were bought on trade networks of legal entities and 8.8 percent was purchased on trade networks of individuals.

Non-food products accounted for 94.9 percent of e-commerce market turnover.
