In recent years, ICBC has been actively establishing a global network of electronic banking services to consistently enhance cross-border and overseas financial service capability. So far, the Bank has launched internet banking, mobile banking and other electronic banking services in 13 languages in 40 foreign countries and territories,  creating a global network of electronic banking services.

At present, ICBC’s offshore personal internet banking can provide over 70 financial services including account management, transfer & remittance and time deposits; the offshore corporate internet banking can render almost 90 financial services including account management, collection, payment and fund pool, in addition to various featured products based on customer requirements and market conditions in different regions abroad. Besides, by leveraging its advantage in global integration, ICBC has developed high-quality cross-border products. For instance, its global account management business can help customers manage domestic and overseas accounts in an integrated manner through electronic banking.

To strengthen service for overseas customers, ICBC has established a specialized electronic banking center to provide 24-hour telephone banking services, including manual service in five languages namely Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Spanish and Thai, as well as automatic voice service in nine languages namely Mandarin, Cantonese, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Japanese and Thai, which has met offshore customers’ requirement for financial service to their satisfaction.
