OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2014. The fifth session of Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Counci chaired by Prime Minister Karim Massimov and Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Joomart Otorbayev has been held in Astana.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of trade and economic cooperation and exchanged views on the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation.

In particular, issues of cooperation in the field of investment, energy, agriculture, transport, industry and space activities were considered.

Following the meeting, Heads of Governments of the two countries signed a protocol of the 5th session of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council.
