OREANDA-NEWS. On September 2, ISUZU trucks motor race, which will be held in 10 Russian cities, started in Ulyanovsk. The ceremonial start of the road show was combined with opening of the first in Ulyanovsk ISUZU dealership, Ulyanovsk-SCAN.

The participants in the race, which slogan is "Japanese Quality with Russian Soul", are ISUZU trucks with gross vehicle weight 3.5-18 tons and with various superstructures: ELF 3.5 S (NLR) chassis-based isothermal van, 3-side dump truck on ELF 3.5 (NMR N1) chassis, rear body truck with CMU UNIC on ELF 7.5 (NPR) chassis, refrigerator van with refrigeration and heating system on ELF 9.5 (NQR) chassis, covered rear body truck on FORWARD 12.0 (FSR) chassis, refrigerator van with refrigeration and heating system on FORWARD 18.0 (FVR) chassis. A four-wheel drive double cabin pickup D-Max 2.5TDI, 5A/T is chosen as an escort vehicle. The event partners are superstructure producers Spetsmobil, Mega Drive and SOLLERS-FINANCE.

Race start ceremony was held at the new modern dealership ISUZU, Ulyanovsk. The inaugural address was made by Fabrice Gorlier, Director General of SOLLERS-ISUZU CJSC, Kazuo Goda, Deputy Director General of SOLLERS-ISUZU CJSC, Kawahara Makoto, Board Chairman of ISUZU Motors, and Andrey Shevchenko, Ulyanovsk-SCAN dealership CEO. "Road show is a great opportunity to demonstrate ISUZU vehicles to the customers. It was not casual to choose to start our race from Ulyanovsk. This city has a strategic importance for us. Here is our plant, where ISUZU trucks are produced. And we are happy to open the first ISUZU dealership in Ulyanovsk, which will be located in close proximity to the production, together with the start of our race," - said Fabrice Gorlier in his speech.

ULYANOVSK-SCAN is the 51st authorized ISUZU dealership in Russia. "We are a new ISUZU dealer and we are proud of the fact that we have already sold the first batch of vehicles even before the official opening. In our opinion, it's a very good sign. We are planning to keep a good pace and move only forward!" - said Andrey Shevchenko, Director General of ULYANOVSK-SCAN.

The new dealership meets all ISUZU standards: it is located in a contemporary new building with a protected area, provides a wide range of services including car wash, and is staffed with trained and qualified personnel. The dealership possesses a complete range of special tools and spare parts.

The event was attended by about 170 partners and customers. The festive atmosphere was created due dense interactive program. The event was opened by an eye-catching Japanese-style spot, followed by vocal band show. Guests had a great opportunity to have their photo near ISUZU vehicle or against the brand wall taken and printed immediately. A robot guide made presentation of the models exhibited. Everyone had an opportunity to experience a vehicle in a test drive. Moreover, there was a cocktail party zone where one could have a rest, chat with new friends, drink a cup of coffee or eat some snack. All guests were presented branded gifts and flash cards with press kit.
