OREANDA-NEWS. Sale of five-door hatchback Datsun mi-DO will start in Russia in the winter of the following year. New car will come to dealer showrooms with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 87 HP. The engine may be combined with either 5-speed mechanical or 4-speed automatic transmission.

As the newspaper "AvtoSreda" writes, the world premiere of the second model Datsun for Russia took place at the Moscow Motor Show. Hatchback is based on the restyled 5-door Lada Kalina. Producer of Datsun mi-DO, as well as sedan Datsun on-DO, will be AvtoVAZ.

All equipment of Datsun mi-DO will be equipped with airbags for driver and front passenger, system ABS, heated seats and exterior mirrors. Prices of hatchback were not announced.

Today, sedan Datsun on-DO, which is offered with a 1.6 liter engine capacity of 82 or 87 hp, is already available in Russia. Therewith, this model is available only with a manual transmission. Prices of on-DO vary from 329 thousand to 445 thousand rubles.
