OREANDA-NEWS. From 25 September to 23 November 2014, the Federal Passenger Company and Visa are running an Internet campaign to inform passengers about the "Plan Ahead!" special fare, which offers tickets at a discount of up to 50%.

The campaign will help large numbers of passengers to learn about great deals on long distance trains in a timely manner.

In the framework of "Plan ahead!", passengers using the long distance trains operated by the Federal Passenger Company, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, can purchase tickets for the upper berths in train compartments at discounts of up to 50%. The size of the discount takes into account seasonal fare changes.

The campaign offer also applies to payments made with Visa cards.

To receive ticket discounts for compartments, tickets have to be booked 31-45 days before the trip.

The offer applies to tickets for upper berths in train compartments departing up to 24 December 2014 inclusive
