As part of the "Swachh Bharat Mission" announced by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited launched a massive special cleanliness and hygiene campaign on 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanti Diwas, so as to provide impetus to the drive. Employees across all locations participated in the drive and cleaned their office premises and surrounding areas as a part of this massive campaign. Furthermore, the officials of TPDDL also pledged to keep India clean.

As a responsible corporate organization, Tata Power Delhi Distribution is appealing to their consumers to participate in the Swachh Bharat Mission. Besides sensitising consumers on energy conservation, as part of its ongoing program, TPDDL will also educate them on the importance of 'cleanliness'.

According to Mr. Praveer Sinha, CEO and ED, TPDDL, "We are pleased to announce our participation in the noble initiative announced by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India. For we believe that, cleanliness should be imbibed into one's life. It is not an activity that should last for a few days, but the thought process of relating to the same needs to be changed. We want to spread the awareness of cleanliness and its impact. We are undertaking such initiatives in our CSR campaign since inception. It is our endeavour that the campaign gets huge participation so as to make it a grand success.
