OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company continues to accept requests and pay compensation to the customers of the RV World LLC Tour Operator, which announced the suspension of its activity in July this year. As of September 30, 2014, payments were made under 36 applications from 74 tourists, for the total amount of approximately RUB 10.3 m. A total of 50 applications from 98 aggrieved tourists, for the total amount of RUB 11.9 m, had been registered by the above mentioned date.

About 50% of the aggrieved customers are from Moscow and the Moscow Region. In addition, there are applications from tourists from Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Voronezh, Belgorod, Volgograd, Omsk, Surgut, as well as from other regions of the Russian Federation.

The process of losses settlement is progressing in the ordinary course. The specialists of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company provide consultancy to the aggrieved clients of RV World Tour Operator on a daily basis, answering questions about necessary documents and terms of compensation payment. The time frame for the receipt of compensation from Ingosstrakh Insurance Company by tourists depends, apart from other factors, on the date of the tour. The most remote date of the start of a tour purchased by a customer of RV World is January 29, 2015, and, therefore, insurance compensation can be paid to the customer not earlier than on that date, provided the full package of documents is submitted.

RV World LLC Tour Operator suspended his activity on July 25, 2014. The civil liability of the tour operator for failure to perform or improper performance of obligations under contracts of sale of tourist product is insured with Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. The limit of insurance liability under the contract with the RV World LLC is RUB 30 m. According to the preliminary analysis, all the aggrieved tourists will receive their compensations in full. The liability of Rosa Vetrov World Tour Operator, which suspended its activity in the same period, is insured with another insurance company.

Documents can be submitted at Ingosstrakh Insurance Company's office in Moscow, at the address: 41 Lesnaya str. Outside Moscow, customers can submit the documents to any branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. Documents can also be sent by postal service with delivery notification to: 41 Lesnaya Str., Moscow, 127994, indicating that the recipient is Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, Department of Settlement of Claims under Liability Insurance. All envelopes with documents submitted to the office of the insurance company or sent by mail must be marked with the words "Losses under agreement with RV World Tour Operator LLC”.
