OREANDA-NEWS. Belarusian gas-processing plant has raised the quality of liquid gas up to the European standard.

Starting from October 1 liquid gas of Belarusian production corresponds to I grade of copper corrosion factor. New quality level of end product is stipulated by the European norm DIN EN 589:2008 and has been achieved through construction and commissioning of desulfurization department. The unit presupposes adsorption cleaning of liquefied petrol gas of propane and butane fraction, as well as of stripped gas for further use thereof as recovery product. Designed capacity of desulfurization department per year according to the propane fraction will make 346 thous. t. with butane fraction - 205 thous. t.

With sulfides cleared out propane and butane fractions constitute end products. They may be applied as individual parts for petrochemical processing, as fuel for motor transport and as well as domestic gas.

Unit commissioning will enable the plant to increase the quantity of shipment of commercial output to be exported and will advance the price of such sales. For gas consumers new standard means more careful automobile operation.
