OREANDA-NEWS. Within the framework of the investment program related with the re-equipment and reconstruction of generating capacities and heat grid complex, the company “Quadra - Power Generation” carries our construction of a modern block-modular boiler room of 22 MW in capacity in the city of Lebedyan, the Lipetsk Region. The new boiler room will supply heat and hot water to more than 80 facilities - residential houses, administrative buildings, social and cultural facilities. This year, the company will assign RUR 60 mn for the boiler room construction.

“Startup of the new modern boiler room will enable putting out of operation the old departmental boiler room “LeMaz”, which earlier provided heat to a part of the city residents. This will significantly improve quality, reliability and economical efficiency of operation of the Lebedyan heat supply system as a whole,” Alexey Kurilo, director of the Eastern branch of JSC “Quadra - Power Generation” explained.

Construction of the boiler room will be held in two stages. The first one will include installation of 3 water heating boilers in the boiler room. At the moment, all necessary materials and equipment have been delivered to the construction site, common construction works and installation of main equipment of the boiler room are held now. It is scheduled to complete the first stage of the construction by the end of the year 2014.

Heat industry specialists will start the second stage of the construction in 2015. Its plans include installation of the fourth boiler and gas reciprocating machines.

“The boiler room will meet all of the latest technical requirements, including, it will be equipped with a modern automation system. Communication with the dispatch panel will be implemented in the real time mode; main current operational parameters of equipment and emergency signals will be displayed on the dispatch panel where visualization of the current parameters of the technical process, data collection and storage and actual parameter setting will be possible,” Alexey Kurilo said.

Completion of the construction of the block-modular boiler room is scheduled for 2015.
