Freight One Helps Cargo Owners Optimize Costs
OREANDA-NEWS. Joint Stock Company Freight One ("Freight One" or "the Company") announces that it has launched boxcar renovation program to increase rolling stock competitive performance and efficiency.
Over 1,500 boxcars with body volume of 138 and 158 cubic meters are to be renovated under scheduled repairs before the end of the year.
Program implementation will provide Freight One with boxcars of consumer qualities equal to those of new rolling stock offered by railcar manufacturing enterprises. Renovation costs per unit, however, will not exceed 5% of the market value of a new railcar.
Renovation will enable Freight One to continue using the existing railcar fleet and avoid purchasing new expensive rolling stock, thus allowing the Company not to pass on the expenses to cargo owners, which would have been otherwise inevitable to recover the value of the new railcars, which would have been otherwise inevitable to recover the value of the new railcars.
