OREANDA-NEWS. “Zaporozhtransformator” PJSC has signed a contract for delivery of autotransformer rated for power 200 MBA, voltage class 330 kV for “Federal Network Company of the United Power System” JSC (“FNC UPS”). Equipment will be installed at substation “Makhachkala” (Dagestan, RF) according to requirements of the contract.

Affiliated company of “FNC UPS” JSC - MES Yug has become the final Customer. ZTR transformer will be installed within the reconstruction program of substation in Dagestan republic. Main equipment will be replaced at the site, it will improve reliability of power supply of region, objects of oil-and-gas industry, railway, marine and aircraft transport infrastructure.

Popular transformer manufacturers such as Toshiba, Electric plant took part at bidding. ZTR was selected by “FNC UPS” Company as the manufacturer and supplier of equipment due to long-term experience of collaboration and supplies of qualitative production to the energetic objects of the Customer, as well as competitive quotation and terms of delivery.

SS ”Makhachkala” supplies power to HPP Sulanskiy in southern part of Dagestan republic and power system of Transcaucasia as well as international marine port, being main object of foreign economic activities of Russia. Transformer delivery to the substation has strategically important meaning for ZTR. Equipment of “Zaporozhtransformator” PJSC will provide reliable power supply of fast-developing region considering its increasing demands for power consumption.

Transformer dispatch is scheduled for November of the year 2014.
