OREANDA-NEWS. October 03, 2014. That was talked about at a meeting between Director General of the National Food Safety Agency of Moldova (NFSA) Ion Sula and representatives of the U.S. Agriculture Ministry from the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, who paid their first visit to our country.
Ion Sula told the American officials about the work and achievements of the Food Safety Agency of Moldova and noted the Agency was open for cooperation. The members of the American delegation emphasized the relevance of food safety for the two states and the importance of strengthening their trade relations.
They were told about NFSA having filed to the U.S. Trade Department the model sanitary-veterinary certificate for the import of marine products meant for human consumption and the model certificate for the import of bivalve molluscs (oysters and mussels), echinoderms (starfish and urchins), sea tulips and live marine gastropods meant for human consumption.
