OREANDA-NEWS. October 02, 2014. The welders of JSC TATNEFT demonstrated high professional qualification and became the winners of the Regional contest of professional skills 2014.

The contest was arranged by the "Tehnosvar" Center of the Volga region" at the premises of the Konstantinovsky linear production department of main gas pipelines "Gazprom Transgaz" under the auspices of the National Agency for the welding control of "NAKS" and Rostekhnadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The contest included four types of welding: manual arc welding;   manual argon-arc welding; manual arc welding of metal structures; mechanized welding with consumable electrodes in carbon dioxide environment.

Evaluation of the welded test piece was performed by the point system for the following parameters: visual measurement control, pneumatic testing, welding time, consumption of welding materials, compliance with the assembly and welding technology and compliance with safety requirements.

The representatives of JSC TATNEFT took the first three places in the category of manual arc welding: Alexei Sosenkov (NGDU "Elkhovneft ") - the first place, Aidar Shaikhullin (NGDU "Almetyevneft") - the second place and Ilmir Gabidullin ( NGDU " Elkhovneft") was the third.
Veniamin Karamzin, a welder of the Bugulma Mechanical Plant of JSC TATNEFT took the first place in the nomination of mechanized welding with consumable electrodes in carbon dioxide environment. The third place went to Rafis Fazylov of JSC TANECO.

The welders of the JSC TATNEFT's structural divisions used to  become winners many times  not only at the regional  contests but also at All-Russia contests of welders' professional skills.
