OREANDA-NEWS. The representatives of travel companies of Uzbekistan and India, the staff of Uzbekistan Embassy and Consulate in India took part in the event held in Hotel "Holiday Inn". The guests were shown the video film on tourist potential of Uzbekistan and the progress of the government reforms being effected in the tourist infrastructure.

The field of tourism industry is closely associated with the development of international and domestic air transportation. It was mentioned that the important part in the fulfillment of the tasks on further development of international tourism and increasing of tourist flow to our Republic, was given to Uzbekistan Airways.

The presentation aimed at increasing of tourist flow from India, gave the information about Uzbekistan Airways as one of the largest airlines in the Central Asia with up to date fleet and its high level of flight safety. The major travel companies and representatives of business community of India learned a lot about technological and technical novelties, staff professional skill and the company operation principles, they got acquainted with offers for tourist destinations, reduced tariff flights and new routes of Uzbekistan Airways. The flexible terms of air carriage were also considered.

The participants of the event gave a high assessment of conditions created in our country for foreign tourists and made special mention of importance of such presentations for developing mutually beneficial cooperation between travel operators of Uzbekistan and India.

Within the presentation a complementary ticket Tashkent-Delhi-Tashkent was raffled off.
