Kazakhstan to Increase Demand for Work Force
OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2014. Demand for work force will be higher than increase of economically active population in 2014-2018. It was reported by Minister of Public Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duissenova at the scientific conference on development of secondary technical and vocational education in the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
"It is expected that the total increase of labour force demand over the period 2014-2018 years will be about 700 thousand people. At the same time, the growth of economically active population will be about 400 thousand people," T.Duissenova said.
According to her, this is due to the fact that the citizens born in the 90s, when the birth rate fell, come to the labour market in this period. As a result, the requirements for the quality of the labour force go up. It is expected that the population will be provided with jobs, and the shortage in the labour market will be replenished through involvement of unemployed and formalization of self-employed.
Minister noted that the forecast for development of labour market has been developed on behalf of the Head of State in the current year.
