OREANDA-NEWS.  September 30, 2014. On the occasion of a professional holiday of Azerbaijani oil workers, SOCAR presented its new corporate logo. New logo is based on the symbol of fire, consisting of three colors. The symbol of fire holds an important place in the history of Azerbaijan.

The colors of the new logo correspond to the colors of the national flag, which is considered important to represent Azerbaijan in the international arena as a modern and secure country.

The logo has been worked out considering that the SOCAR brand would attract attention and be easily recognizable.

Besides, “Baku-2015 European Games” and SOCAR signed official partnership agreement the same day. Under the agreement, European Games will be promoted at SOCAR filling station in Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Georgia, Romania, and Ukraine.
