OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2014. Meeting with Sub-regional Coordinator on Central Asia of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Country Representative of this organization to the Republic of Uzbekistan Ms. Yuriko Shoji took place at the Ministry for foreign economic relations, investments and trade.

During the talks issues of further enhancement of bilateral cooperation with regard for starting activity of FAO Office in Tashkent have been discussed.

Y.Shoji has particularly noted that fruitful outcomes of the Conference “On the Most Important Reserves to Implement Food Program in Uzbekistan”, which was held on June 5-6 this year in Tashkent and became a significant international event in the field of global food security ensure.
