OREANDA-NEWS. Month - September, a meeting place - Chicago: a global forum for air routes development - World Routes Forum - will be held in America for the second year in a row. Moscow Domodedovo Airport once again became a participant of the main event of the global air transportation market.

Windy City brought together about 3,000 delegates of the largest aviation companies of the planet: representatives of airports, airlines, suppliers, investors, international and regional associations, national tourism organizations held thousands of meetings. The event format implies the effective work of a dialogue platform, using which the participants have an opportunity to strengthen the already existing partnerships and to develop new areas of cooperation. And the main result of the World Routes Forum is expansion of the routes network worldwide.

One of the interesting meetings for Moscow Domodedovo Airport representatives within World Routes 2014 Forum was negotiations with the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain - Gulf Air. This Middle East airline plans to open direct and regular flights to Moscow Domodedovo Airport shortly.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport annually participates in the largest industry events: experts of the leading air hub of Russia hold talks with delegates of international airlines, airports and tourism organizations, consider possible ways for cooperation with potential partners in the context of opening of new and unique destinations. For instance, within a year after the World Routes 2013, the largest Russian air hub started cooperation with several foreign airlines, among which there is the flagship carrier of India - Air India - which now operates regular flights from the 'capital of seven empires'.

Currently, Moscow Domodedovo Airport, together with its partner airlines, offers more than 240 destinations worldwide, 87 of which are unique for the aviation hub of the capital.
