This was stated by the Prime Minister of Moldova Iurie Leanca, which together with the Vice-President of the European investment Bank William Molterer and head of the EU delegation in Chisinau Pirkka Tapiola visited apple orchard in Zaicani, Criuleni region, where it was announced an approval of a new project investments in the Moldovan economy.

As it is noted, the EIB loan in the amount of 120 million euros will be provided to our country on the favorable terms to support small and medium enterprises from the sector of horticulture. Iurie Leanca said that the project is important for Moldovan farmers, including within the context of restrictions on the exports to Russia, as well as the opening of the EU market for Moldovan goods. According to him, the project is designed to give the advantages of the opening of the EU market, free trade area, so that exporters can supply products to the EU market, as well as other countries.

Iurie Leanca said that the project is important because it provides a comprehensive approach to solving the problems of the industry - from the production to sale. It provides the investment in technology and equipment, the provision of assistance to the bodies responsible for certification, testing and accreditation of products. In addition, emphasis will be placed on the quality of professional education, marketing and promotion of the new markets. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the Moldovan goods will come to the market of the European consumers as well as the other markets.

According to him, such investments do not only ultra-modern technology, but also a very good yields and good competitiveness of goods. Innovation project "Garden of Moldova" is that it will be available through the leasing company.
