RF Becomes Largest Partner of Moldova on Agricultural Exports
OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2014. According to the Ministry of agriculture and food industry, in January-June 2014 agricultural exports to Russia decreased by 10.6% compared to the same period of the last year up to USD82,4 million.
TOP-15 countries, which accounted for approximately of 82.7% of all Moldovan agricultural export also included: Italy - 11% (USD 57.1 million); Belarus - 9,8% (USD 50.8 million); Romania - 7,1% (USD 36,8 million); Ukraine - 6.9% (USD 35,9 million); Turkey-6.6% (USD 34.3 million); Germany - 4.1% (USD 21.2 million); France - 3.3% (USD 17.2 million); Poland-3% (USD 15.3 million); Greece-2.9% (USD 14.9 million); Switzerland - 2,8% (USD 14.4 million); New Zealand - 2,5% (\\$12.8 million); UK - 2,4% (USD 12.2 million); Kazakhstan - 2.3% (USD 11.8 million); the United States-2.1% (USD 10,8 million).
It should be noted that substantially increased exports to Italy - 6.7 times as compared with January-June 2013, to Belarus - by 40.7%, Romania - 26.5%, while exports to Ukraine decreased by 18.8%.
