OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2014. Power engineers will complete the main scope of the works of the production program of JSC "MOESK" in the territory of the capital mega city before the autumn and winter period (AWP) beginning. The works are being performed without underruns from the plans-schedules, on a series of the directions – with their front-running.

According to the estimated indicators, based on the results of 9 months of the current year, over 440 MVA of transformer capacity and about 890 km of 0.4-220 kV power transmission lines will be introduced additionally in Moscow.

Among the facilities, which are paid the biggest attention – is reconstruction of cable - overhead line 110 kV "Vostochnaya – Cherkizovo 1, 2" with the length of 5.4 km, cable lines 110 kV "Fili-Presnya 1, 2" (2.5 km) and "Avtozavodskaya – Yuzhnaya 3" (1 km). Renovation works of substations "Zubovskaya", "Central'naya" and "Sviblovo" are especially controlled. Besides that, the scheduled works for substitution of the overloaded transformers 6-10 kV (totally 146 units will be substituted) are being performed.

The arrangements are aimed at reliability and quality increasing of the consumers' power supply, as well as at time reducing of emergency recovery works.

To bring these indicators in the territory of Novaya Moskva to the standards of the capital mega city, MOESK has created the self-named branch at the end of the past year. Based on the results of the autumn and winter period of years 2013-2014, the terms of the power supply recovery in Troitsk and Novomoskovsk administrative districts were reduced, at average, from 167 to 112 minutes. In the former borders of Moscow this indicator amounts today to 47 minutes and exceeds the best European practices. The indicators improvement is achieved, among other things, due to an operating delivery of mobile sources of electric supply – mobile electric power stations (MEPS) to an emergency site. The arsenal of MOESK power engineers includes 114 MEPS of the different capacity, including 30 kW stations. Besides that, the accident rescue service is created in the Company, and cars of MOESK teams have been equipped with the dark blue rotation beacons and acoustic special signals, what has made it possible, in terms of a tight schedule of road traffic in Moscow, to reduce three times the time of the power engineers arrival to an emergency site.

Let us specify that in year 2014 MOESK is going to complete the formation of so called Mobile teams from among the employees of Emergency Crews and Repair and Maintenance Base, what will also make it possible to increase the quickness and qualification level of the employees.

On the whole, in Moscow, in the responsibility area of JSC "MOESK" the indicator decrease of the accidence level, as compared to the last autumn and winter period, amounted to about 6%.

Alongside with the production programs performance, a special attention is paid to the work with the personnel: carrying out the joint command-and-staff training exercises, training of the actions in case of an emergent situation, re-training and advanced training of the employees etc.
