OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2014. Siauliu bankas changes annual interest rates applicable to time deposits, accumulative deposits , time deposits with the variable interest rate and Child deposits. Since 15 September time deposits can be placed in the bank in four currencies - litas, euros, USA dollars and the Great Britain's sterling pounds.

Siauliu bankas is to pay 1 per cent of annual interest to those who are going to place a time deposit in litas and euros for the period of 12 months when interest is paid at the end of maturity and 0.9 per cent if a deposit is placed in dollars and sterling pounds.

Those who will decide to place a time deposit in litas and euros for a longer period - between 4 and 5 years are going to receive 1.6 per cent of annual interest , 1.5 per cent -  if a deposit is placed in the USA dollars and 0.9 per cent  of annual interest is going to be paid for deposits placed in the Great Britain's sterling pounds.

Having considered a change in customers' saving needs, i.e. due to decrease of deposits in Norwegian krones and Swiss francs, the bank shall conclude no deposits agreements in the mentioned currencies and shall not extend deposit agreements since 15 September.
