OREANDA-NEWS. Last week, RM carried out a management conference aimed at development of the leadership development actions plan. The conference was attended by all the managers of RM companies in the fields of machine, aircraft and van building, as well as specialty vehicle production, etc.

Leader is much more than a functional manager, Russian Machines CEO Manfred Eibeck said opening the conference attended by top managers of the corporation's businesses. Mr. Eibeck has stressed that leadership on all levels and in each function helps mobilize internal resources of the companies and significantly increase their efficiency amid economic instability.

The speakers presented specific projects promoting functional leadership and highlighting its connection with the streamlining of functional roles and optimization of the organizational structure.

The conference resulted in a comprehensive leadership development plan which will cover corporate development on all levels and across all functions from learning best practices from foreign experts working in the company and personal coaching of candidates to management positions to development of communication skills in managers and standardization of the internal communication system.
