OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ began the serial production of Lada Priora with an automated manual transmission (AMT). Sales of cars with the new transmission will begin on October 25, 2014 at a price of 395 thousand rubles.

According to Motor.ru, robotic transmission for Lada was created on the basis of a 5-speed cable-operated manual transmission and it was equipped with actuators of German company ZF and clutch Valeo. AMT will be paired only with a 1.6-liter engine producing 106 HP. Lada Priora can be accelerated up to 100 km / h for 11 seconds with such a power aggregate. Top speed is 185 km / h, fuel consumption in the combined cycle - 6.9 liters per 100 kilometers.

AMT allows you to move in fully automatic and manual modes. In the future, automatic transmission will be installed on other models of Lada - Kalina, Granta and Vesta.
