OREANDA-NEWS. "GAZ Group" introduced a new model of low-floor city bus LiAZ-529260 with length of 10.5 m, which is a shortened version of the restyled LiAZ-5292. Already this year, the new buses will operate on routes near Moscow. Total under contract until 2016 for the Moscow region it will be produced 123 buses LiAZ-529260.

Bus LiAZ-529260 is designed to operate on routes with medium and high traffic and it is designed to transport 75 people. Due to the shorter length and reduced wheelbase LiAZ-529260, it has a high maneuverability. Bus is equipped with a diesel engine JAMZ-536 environmental standards "Euro-4" and the capacity of 202 kW (275 HP). The model is available in two versions: in the urban and suburban design.

Inside the new bus, there is equipped a place to attach a wheelchair. Mechanical ramp and adjustable tilt bus (up to 7 ° towards the door) provide the minimum pitch for boarding the bus at the bus stops. Thanks to the low floor, easy entry and exit landing-disembarkation and term of the route by bus are reduced by 10-15%. The driver place is designed in accordance with international standards of comfort and ergonomics, it is equipped with a new electronic instrument cluster and a special box for additional equipment and storage driver.

Recall, the contract for the supply of 1,615 buses for the Moscow region over 9 billion Rubles Likinsky Bus Plant of "GAZ Group" and SUO "Mostransavto" (the major transport carrier of the Moscow Region) signed in February of 2014. Update of transport parc of Moscow suburbs will be phased in over three years: until the end of 2014, it will be delivered 455 buses, in 2015 - 593 buses, in 2016 - 567 buses. "GAZ Group" will supply buses with different parameters: 714 of 12-meter buses LIAZ-529222 "Euro-4" and "Euro-5" with passenger capacity of 114 people, 123 10.5-meter buses LIAZ-529260 with a capacity of 75 people; 778 buses LIAZ-4292 "Euro-5" with 9.5 m long with a capacity of 75 people.
