OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2014. The Chamber of Auditors (CCRM) will receive a 1.5-million-euro-worth grant within the Consolidation and Strengthening of the External Public Audit in Moldova Twinning Project, launched today.

The project is financed by the European Union. It will be implemented by CCRM, in cooperation with the twinning partners – a consortium made up of the HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management and Spanish Court of Accounts.

The project’s general goal is to improve the responsibility and management of public funds in Moldova, by strengthening the capacity of the external audit, according to the international audit standards.

CCRM’s goal is to get enhanced interactions with the parliament and government, rise up the responsibility level of institutions under audit, in order to obtain an increased impact of the activities of the higher audit institution and a high-level of implementation of its recommendations.
