Beijing Airport Provides Free Left Luggage Service
OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2014. To offer convenience to 72-Hour Visa-Free Transit passengers, BCLA will provide free left luggage service from September 1st. With their temporary entry permit, passengers can enjoy the free service (one piece of luggage) in the luggage counter of the airport.
The duration of the service is from September 1st, 2014 to December 31st, 2014. Passengers who need the service can apply for it in the luggage counters within the terminals. The counter between the Gate 8 and Gate 10 in Terminal 2 and the counter on the east of Exit A of the arrival hall of the second floor of Terminal 3 will provide this service.
Since January 1st, 2013, BCLA has adopted the 72-Hour Visa-Free Transit policy. Transfer passengers who hold the passports of listed countries for enjoying the Visa-Free Transit policy, and who stay for less than 72 hours can apply for the Visa-Free Service in the frontier inspection in Capital Airport. This policy is only applicable to foreign passengers who enter China in Beijing and leave from Beijing after a short stay.
At present, there are 51 countries in this 72-Hour Visa-Free Transit list, including Austria, Belgium, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherland, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, Britain, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, UAE, Qatar.
