OREANDA-NEWS. Imports of passenger cars in Russia for the first seven months of 2014 fell by 16.5% to 434.7 thousand cars. According to the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia, during the reporting period it was imported cars worth 8 billion 432.4 million Dollars in Russia. In this case, from foreign countries it was imported 411.8 thousand cars worth 8 billion 261 million Dollars, from CIS countries - 23 thousand cars worth 171.4 million Dollars.

Imports of trucks fell by 16.4% to 42.7 thousand units worth 1 billion 380 million Dollars in January-July 2014. Among them, 41.1 thousand trucks for 1 billion 159.9 million Dollars were delivered from foreign countries, the rest 1.6 thousand cars for 220,1 million Dollars - from the CIS countries.

Export of passenger cars from Russia for seven months in 2014 increased by 6.7% and it was 76.8 thousand units worth 858.6 million Dollars. Therewith, in the CIS countries it was delivered 2.8 thousand passenger cars worth 27.1 million Dollars, to CIS countries - 74 thousand cars worth 831.5 million Dollars.

Export of trucks decreased by 22.8% - to 10.5 thousand vehicles worth 248.6 million Dollars. In the CIS countries it was delivered 2.3 thousand trucks worth 86.5 million Dollars, to CIS countries - 8,1 thousand cars worth 162,1 million Dollars.
