OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2014. Chairman of the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iran Ibrahim Rahimpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of statistical cooperation during the Kazakh-Iranian business forum in Astana.

The memorandum is aimed at developing cooperation between the statistical agencies of the two countries.

Under the memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in the exchange of information of quality management statistics, analysis and data privacy, use of information - communication technologies in census and sample surveys, economic indicators, sampling methods, statistical standards and administrative data (registers).
