Estonian Air Names its Most Popular Destination
OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2014. Summer is known as an active vacation period when many people decide to visit some new attractive tourist destination or holiday resort. This summer Split, Nice and Berlin have been the most popular destinations among Estonian Air customers.
Split which is beloved in particular as holiday travel destination by Europeans, is an important urban centre and luxury holiday beacon. “We are happy to say that our new destination Split has been very well received by our customers. Our second summer destination Nice has been in our flight network already for few seasons. As it has been proved to be popular, we decided to offer flights to Nice also this summer. Based on the results of this year we have seen that passengers’ interest to visit Nice is still high,’’ explained Indrek Randveer, the CCO of Estonian Air.
Berlin, the capital of Germany is known for its lively cultural life which doesn’t compete with blue seas and sandy beaches but is well-known as a mecca for architecture, fashion and design.
“Estonians’ interest in traveling to Germany has been high through the ages. At first Berlin was launched for a summer period only. The operating results of the route have been surprisingly positive and we have decided to prolong the flight period until the beginning of November to meet the market demand,” said Randveer.
,,We are already making agreements on the destinations of the next summer. We can confirm that in 2015 the choice of summer destinations will be as wide as this year, and with longer flight period on some routes. We would like to thank our customers for flying with Estonian Air which has helped us to grow our passenger numbers. For the next summer we will offer one new destination, which will be announced in September,’’ added Randveer.
