OREANDA-NEWS. September 08, 2014. As it was informed in ANRE, the import of gasoline in January-June 2014 decreased to 4.8% and 68.4 thousand tons, diesel fuel - increased by 6.5%-up to 177,3 thousand tons, liquefied gas decreased by 0.1%- up to 34.3 thousand tons.

According to ANRE, in half of 2014, 19 companies owned licenses for the import and wholesale of gasoline and diesel fuel, and 10 companies in the import and wholesale of liquefied gas. The retail sale of gasoline and diesel fuel was carried out by 82 license holders of 602 filling stations in Moldova. Retail sale of liquefied gas at 426 stations was carried out by 68 license holders.

As InfoMarket informed before, imports of petroleum products in Moldova in 2013 grew by 10.9%-up to 640,84 thousand tons.
