Istok, a scientific production company and leader in the development and production of modern microwave electronics for all communications and radio locator types, is expanding its partnership with MAYKOR. In addition to servicing video surveillance systems and monitoring access, MAYKOR is now offering Istok tech support for its corporate photocopiers.

The partnership between MAYKOR and Istok kicked off in 2013 with a contract for servicing access management systems and video surveillance systems. The agreement has the outsourcer responsible for regularly running preventive and repair work as well as equipment diagnostics. This serves to guarantee the security systems' stable working order, something that is very important for high-tech manufacturing.

In 2014 Istok signed another contract with MAYKOR, this time to service over a thousand photocopiers. Among MAYKOR's responsibilities are routine and incident-related maintenance as well as delivering and replacing spent units. “IT outsourcing as a business model is becoming more and more prevalent in the manufacturing world. As Istok's experience has shown, handing over supporting functions such as tech support for security systems and printers to specialized companies is a great way to save on non-profile functions, focusing resources on the development and improvement of our production processes,” noted Dmitry Trophimov, IT director at Istok.
