OREANDA-NEWS. Sergeev Sergey Alekseevich was appointed to the position of OJSC “Ilyushin Aviation Complex” General director. Since 2011 he has been Director of Directorate for transport aviation programs UAC.

The decision on the appointment was taken by OJSC “Ilyushin Aviation Complex” Board of Directors 1 September 2014. Among the priority tasks of the company there are modernization of the Ministry of Defense transport aircraft fleet and production of new, competitive transport aircraft in all segments of the world market.

As Director of directorate for transport aviation programs UAC Sergey Alekseevich Sergeev was in charge of issues of organization serial manufacture of IL-76MD-90A aircraft, building of military-transport aircraft and other transport aviation programs.

S.A. Sergeev graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute in 1981, he has been in aviation engineering for more than 30 years. Earlier he took positions of Chief designer Sukhoi Design Bureau, Deputy General Director for target programs, military aviation, precontractual work - Director of representation OJSC Company Sukhoi (Russia) in Beijing in OJSC Company Sukhoi.

Yury Mikhailovich Yudin was appointed to the position of the First Deputy general director OJSC “IL”.
