Parallel-Branded Filling Station Resumes Operations in Lisichansk
OREANDA-NEWS. Donetsk
A Parallel-branded filling station has resumed operations in Lisichansk, Lugansk Oblast. The station had to suspend its activities for a long time following the ongoing military hostilities in the town, during which the facility suffered shelling and looting. The company managed to quickly repair the facilities and start selling fuel, yet the station is still under reconstruction.
The de-mining team canvassed the area and Parallel specialists examined the technological processes before the opening.
“The re-launch of operations of a Parallel-branded fuel station is our present to the residents on the City Day, which is celebrated on 2 September in Lisichansk,” noted Yelena Khiliyenko, CEO of Parallel. “Despite the multi-million losses incurred by Parallel as a result of the damage done to the filling station during the hostilities and looting, we are going to continue to work in Donbass. We realise that without fuel no one can restore the region's infrastructure and ensure its sustainable operation.”
A few Parallel-branded filling stations resumed full operations in several areas of Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts, which had been in a war zone. Today Parallel fuel stations are open in Artyomovsk, Gornyak, Dokuchayevsk, Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk, Krasnoarmeysk, Krasny Liman, Kurakhovo, Mariupol, Novotroitskoye, Svyatogorsk, Selidovo, Slavyansk, Telmanovo, Lisichansk, Novoaydar, Novopskov and Severodonetsk.
