OREANDA-NEWS. September 04, 2014. Sberbank CIB acted as one of the organizers for the 8-year USD 750 mln syndicated loan2 for EuroChem Group.

In addition to Sberbank CIB, the syndicate includes six banks: Credit Agricole CIB, HSBC Bank PLC, ING Bank N.V., OJSC Rosbank, Societe Generale S.A., UniCredit Bank.

EuroChem plans to use the funds to finance its potash project “Usolskiy Potash Plant,” Verkhnekamskoe potash deposit (Perm Krai, Russia). This project will increase the company’s self-sufficiency in potash raw materials and strengthen its cost advantage.
