OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2014. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rector of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, Ambassador Hafiz Mir Jalal oglu Pashaev.

Exchanging the views on the status and prospects of further development of the dialogue between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, the Turkmen leader and the head of the foreign-policy agency of Azerbaijan expressed satisfaction with getting the national interests closer and strengthening the trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations, as well as enhancing cooperation in the fuel, energy, transport, and communication spheres.

Particular attention during the meeting was paid to the prospects of cooperation in the sphere of education.

It was also noted that our countries served as strategic partners to find the most efficient ways to solve essential problems, in particular guarantying global and energy safety.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Azerbaijan Republic in Turkmenistan Vahdet Sultanzadeh Mammadaga oglu attended in the meeting.
