Government Changes Regulations on FAS Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2014. The Government of the Russian Federation passed No. 857 Decree “On Introducing Changes to the Regulations on the Federal Antimonopoly Service” adjusting the Regulations on the Federal Antimonopoly Service in line with the current law.
Under No.286-FZ Federal Law “On Mutual Insurance” of 29th November 2007, the above Decree formalized FAS powers to coordinate the Statute of developers mutual insurance company and changes to it.
At the same time, the Decree excluded the powers to approve the form for financial organizations to notify about all agreements reached between them or with the authorities, local self-government bodies and other organizations, except agreements provided for by the antimonopoly law.
The Decree also excludes the powers for the antimonopoly authority to approve, upon accord with the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the method to determine whether the price fixed by a credit organization with the dominant position for the services not rendered by other financial organization is justified.
No. 857 Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation “On Introducing Changes to the Regulations on the Federal Antimonopoly Service” comes into effect on 4th September 2014.
