OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2014. 1. The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan is holding an open tender on medical insurance of its employees in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Public Procurements.

The Tender procedure is to be held at the administrative tower of the Central Bank ( R.Behbudov, 32, Baku city) on 09 October 2014 at 16:00.

2. Bidders should submit the following documents to be eligible:

- tender application;

- notarized copies of documents confirming legal status of the Bidder (Charter, certificate of state registration or statement from registry, etc;

- document confirming authorities of the persons empowered to sign the tender offer and procurement contract;

- bank statement confirming payment of the participation fee;

- two copies (original and copy) of the tender proposal in Azerbaijani (to be valid through 21 November 2014);

- bank guarantee in the amount of 1 (one) percent of the tender proposal (in the bank guarantee format specified in the RFP);

- copy of special permit (license) empowering the bidder for insurance activity and permit for medical insurance activity in the Republic of Azerbaijan;

- bank statement on financial standing over the past one (1) year;

- bidder’s audited financial statements for the year of 2013;

- statement from a tax authority denying any outstanding liability on taxes and other compulsory charges;

- document confirming at least three years’ work experience of the bidder on medical insurance and data on services provided for relevant corporate customers (in the format specified in the RFP);

- letters of reference by at least two corporate clients that are not related parties or have no significant influence on the bidder in accordance with the insurance legislation.

3. The bidder shall submit the signed and sealed bid and the bank guarantee in a two-fold envelope until 18.00, 26 September 2014, and other sealed and signed necessary documents in closed envelopes to the CBAR administrative tower located at 32, R.Behbudov Str, Baku city not later than 18.00, 08 October 2014. Bids submitted later than the fixed date shall be returned without opening and the bidder will not be allowed to the tender.

4. Participation fee is AZN 150 (one hundred and fifty. Bidders shall transfer the participation fee to the following account:

5. Service commencement: 27 November, 2014.

Service duration: 12 months.

6. Assessment criteria: financial factor, insurance terms and conditions on package of services.

7. Insurance companies, willing to participate in the tender may get the RFP in Azerbaijani from the CBAR Administrative tower, located at 32, R.Behbudov Str., Baku city through submission of the bank statement confirming payment of the participation fee.
