According to him, the first three trucks with the Moldovan apples and plums have already been sent for sale in the networks of Metro Romania, and arrangements with the management of this trade network "was contributed by the German friends".

 Iurie Leanca said that the purchasing prices for Moldovan fruits in Romanian Metro are very good, and now the representatives of Moldova are negotiating on the supply of fruits in other large networks of Germany, France, Great Britain, in order to minimize losses of the domestic farmers due to the Russian ban on the deliveries of Moldovan fruits and vegetables to the Russian market.

The Prime Minister also stressed that the Moldovan government is also willing to compensate the losses of the Moldovan farmers. Earlier it was reported that the Moldovan fruit growers will conclude direct contracts for the supply of fruits in the network Metro, Carrefour, Auchan and other large stores in Romania.
