CROC Creates IT Infrastructure for Hayat Holding
OREANDA-NEWS. Seven subsidiary entities of Hayat Holding, the largest Turkish enterprise operating in the chemical, wood, construction, and power industries, have started operating in Russia. Most of their IT infrastructure was created by CROC, the systems integrator.
"We expect our entry into the Russian market to be successful: we plan to invest up to 1 billion dollars and have already opened representative offices in the Elabuga special economic zone, Moscow, and Krasnodar, which will be managed from Istanbul. A single unified IT environment was one of our top priorities in order to achieve this business objective," says Cengiz YALÇIN, IT Manager - Operations Abroad, Hayat Holding.
Modern IT infrastructure enables the holding to ensure uninterrupted operation of all its branches, consolidate information from contractors and several hundred employees, and arrange internal and external interactions. To offer maximum management flexibility and convenience, high security, uninterruptible operations, and options for further upgrades and expansion of IT solutions, the company operates modern data storage and backup systems, server and peripheral equipment, and software systems.
In addition, CROC installed structured cabling systems, rolled out IP telephony and LAN, and arranged wireless Internet access in all enterprise subsidiaries. Furthermore, a call center was deployed in the Hayat Holding Moscow office to service all of the company's clients across the country.
"We had to take into account both Russian and Turkish specifics in the IT infrastructure building. We understand that the Turkish market is more flexible and thus found compromises during our work. Our specialists trained Hayat Holding IT personnel and we continue to provide comprehensive technical support services remotely by quickly resolving all customer questions," comments Andrey Stepochkin, Corporate Account Director, CROC.
