Parallel Filling Stations' Continue Operating in Ukraine's East
OREANDA-NEWS. Despite a very difficult situation, Parallel-branded filling stations continue operating in Ukraine's east. The company is working hard to supply fuel to the stations and the necessary goods to the mini-markets in order to support normal living in the region.
As of today, 50 Parallel and one PitStop filling stations are operating in Donetsk Oblast.
Parallel team are taking every effort to ensure the operation of fuel stations in the ATO area and restore the facilities in the liberated cities and towns. However, the stable fuel supplies, including autogas, can continue only if the secure logistics and safety of the employees is provided, in particular tank-truck drivers.
Operation of Parallel-branded filling stations in Donetsk Oblast in the ATO area
Today, 23 Parallel and one PitStop petrol stations continue operating in the ATO area, including Donetsk and Makeyevka. The stations accept cash and plastic cards.
The area of armed conflict is facing shortages of autogas as the stored fuel has been used up and it is impossible to supply more due to a lack of “green corridors” to deliver petroleum products.
Operation of Parallel-branded filling stations in the rest of Donetsk Oblast
The petrol stations operate in Artyomovsk, Gornyak, Volnovakha, Dokuchayevsk, Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk, Krasnoarmeysk, Krasny Liman, Kurakhovo, Mariupol, Novotroitskoye, Svyatogorsk, Selidovo, Slavyansk and Telmanovo.
In Mariupol, the current situation with fuel is stable as six Parallel stations are selling petrol and regularly receiving the supplies from a local oil depot, which has been recently utilised as an additional storage for Parallel fuels. The stations accept both cash and plastic cards.
Operation of Parallel-branded filling stations in Lugansk Oblast
The situation in Lugansk Oblast is still difficult.
Parallel's filling stations are not operating in the ATO area as it is impossible to deliver the fuel. The company continues to restore the facilities in the liberated cities and towns, having already reopened the petrol stations in Severodonetsk and Novopskov, where people can buy fuel, groceries and other goods. In mid-August, the stations in Novoaydar and Schastye (north of Lugansk Oblast) resumed operations. Thus, the oblast has five working Parallel fuel stations.
The company will shortly reopen a facility in Lisichansk, where two of the four filling stations have been damaged seriously and one has been completely destroyed. Fixing the utilities networks and communications lines has been complicated.
The damaged Parallel-branded facility in Popasnaya will be reconstructed as soon as possible. The filling station in Metallist near Lugansk has been completely demolished, so its restoration will take much longer.
