President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received heads of leading foreign companies - President and Director General of the “Haldor Topsoe” Company Bjerne Clausen, Chairman of the Board of the “Ronesans Holding” Company Erman Ilicak, President of the “Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd” for industrial and infrastructure projects Eiji Inoue, and Senior Vice President, Machinery Division Senior General Manager, Infrastructure Project & Industrial Machinery Unit of the Sojitz Corporation company Toshiharu Yoshimura.

Representatives of foreign companies reported on the preparations for laying the foundation of the plant for processing natural gas and producing gasoline, which would be built in Ahal Velayat on the initiative of the Turkmen leader. As is known, the agreement on this large-scale investment project was achieved in September, 2013 during an official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Japan and was fixed by the relevant Framework agreement between the Turkmengaz State Concern and Consortium of “Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd” and “Ronesans Turkmen” Turkish Companies.

Speaking about the significance of a modern gas processing plant, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that implementation of this large-scale project would be an important step in enhancing the potential of the national oil and gas industry.

In conclusion of the meeting, the President and his guests exchanged the best wishes and expressed belief in the success of all joint projects implemented in mutual interests.
