Interest Rate on Foreign Currency Loans Increases by 0,05% in Moldova
OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2014. As it was informed in the National Bank of Moldova, the average interest rate on loans to legal entities increased by 0.06%- from 7.76% p.a. in June to 7,82% p.a. in July, while the average interest rate on loans to individuals decreased by 0.33% - from 10.17% to 9,84% p.a. Historical minimum average interest rate on foreign currency loans in September 2013 made up 7.07% p.a.
The average rate for mortgage currency loans in July 2014 amounted to 9% p.a. (8,33% the previous month), consumer loans- to 12.4% p.a. (11,13%). The lowest in July 2014 was the interest rate on foreign currency loans issued to legal entities for the period of more than 5 years - 6,34% p.a. (6.57% the previous month).
The highest average interest rate on foreign currency loans in July 2014 was the rate on the consumer loans to individuals for up to 1 month- - 14,85% p.a. (14,51% the previous month).
