OREANDA-NEWS. On 31st August 2014, the power station #2 of the TGC-1's Centralnaya CHPP will host the events devoted to environmental consciousness of students and youth within the framework of the All-Russian environmental clean-up event.

The event will be attended by children from the boarding schools, education centers for children with disabilities and Company's employees with their families.

Young citizens of St. Petersburg may attend the master classes in arts Living Energy devoted to environmental education. The programme covers visiting the modern indoor switchgear 110/6kV at the Centralnaya CHPP of TGC-1. The guests will have a chance to see where the electricity is generated, will study the power plant operation principles, and will get information on efficient use of resources and environmental friendliness.

During the master class in arts, St.Petersburg artists together with the event participants will create an art picture Living Energy representing their ideas related to responsible attitude to the environment. The picture will unify various works, and the common idea of all authors is the desire to save whatever we received from nature, spend heat, electricity, water, and gas reasonably and responsibly.
