OREANDA-NEWS. Tomorrow, on the 12th of August, KAMAZ (a member of SC Rostec) will hold a robotics workshop with the participation of experts from the Italian company Comau.

The robotics workshop is aimed at discovering potential of robot technologies and selecting the best solutions for each subdivision of KAMAZ's production string. Tomorrow's workshop will be attended by directors of factories, chief engineers and manufacturing managers, experts of KAMAZ and some of its subsidiaries, and also representatives of Naberezhnye Chelny's Branch of Kazan (Volga) Federal University. Comau will be represented by Franco Deregibus, Vice President of Comau Asia, and Vladimir Shtinov, General Director of OOO Comau Russia.

Under a large-scale reengineering program, KAMAZ met with representatives of such famous robot producers as Kuka (Germany), ABB (Switzerland and Sweden), Fanuc (Japan).
