OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2014. According to Romania’s Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean, the meeting will mark the enactment of the RM-EU Association Agreement.

As a rule, he noted, the EU Foreign Ministers meet in Brussels. However, Romania managed to convince them to hold the meeting in Chisinau this time, chaired by Romania and France.

The event will sent a strong political signal that Moldova’s pro-European government is supported by the EU in the circumstances when our country’s internal stability and national security have been challenged, Titus Corlatean stressed. Besides, he mentioned that on August 27-29 Foreign Ministers of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine are paying a visit to Bucharest to take part in Days of Romanian Diplomacy.
