OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2014. Within the framework of state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Islam Karimov to the People’s Republic of China, the China-Uzbekistan business-forum took place in Beijing on August 19, this year.

It was attended by the heads of ministries and agencies, as well as business community members of two countries.

During the event presentations, dedicated to social-economic development and investment potential of Uzbekistan, issues of industrial projects financing, prospective proposals on cooperation with Chinese companies in the field of oil-gas and petrochemical, chemical and mining industry, electrical engineering and ICT, as well as Jizzakh Special Industrial Zone.  
 
Parties discussed issues of further extending of bilateral trade-economic and investment cooperation.

On the outcomes of business-forum number of agreements on business partnership was signed.
